About Me

The Early Days

I'm originally from Canada. I lived in northern Ontario with my mom, dad and two brothers. I was always active as a child. I can remember my dad working out in our basement with dumbbells, a flat bench and a squat rack! That’s where it really started for me, seeing my dad train and watching all the superstar WWF wrestlers! The good ole 80s and 90's!

My mom and dad put me in gymnastics when I was 6 year old and I competed provincially until I was 15. Around 15/16 year old I joined cheerleading. It was time for me to be a little more social..I don't think it worked very well as I'm still to this day shy.

Skipping School & Lifting Weights

As I was cheerleading my older brother was starting to get into bodybuilding, going to the local gym and watching Jay Cutler videos on youtube. Because my older brother and I were so close growing up, we were only 18 months apart, I decided I wanted to lift weights too!

I can remember my brother and I skipping school to go and lift! Some of my favorite memories growing up are my 2 brothers and I going to the gym together, training legs, and getting Subway after! Yes, we thought that was healthy...

Becoming an IFBB Pro

I went to college and studied Police Foundation to become a police officer. It seemed like everyone in the program lifted weights. As I was going to school in the city, there were more people that talked about bodybuilding shows and I thought this was my chance! I wanted to compete!

I started to take bodybuilding more seriously... I won my first regional show and the overalls in both the Fitness and Figure division. I went on to the Canadian Nationals in 2012 and won an IFBB Pro Card in Fitness.

The American Dream

I moved to the US in 2014! I am truly living "The American Dream". I worked as a phlebotomist at a hospital in Washington for a couple of years and competed when I could get the time off.

I have competed in 25 IFBB Fitness/Figure shows since turning pro in 2012. I have won the most prestigious competitions including The Arnold Classic Fitness International 2x (2020 & 2021) and The Ms Fitness Olympia 2x (2020 & 2022). 🏆

Love, Weiner Dogs, and Sharks

2019 has got to be one of my favorites year's thus far! In June 2019 I married my best friend, the man of my dreams, Matt Truscott. Matt and I live in Washington with our 2 wiener dogs, Athena, Leo and the late Schultze Truscott. We have traveled around the world with each other and have done some really cool stuff!

One thing we both have in common is our love for the ocean and sharks! We have gone to Guadalupe Island and cage drove with great white sharks!! That has to be one of the most thrilling things I have ever done! Everyday I spend with Matt is a day I cherish and don't take for granted. I'm blessed to have this beautiful family with Matt and the weenies. ❤️🙏🏻

And New...

In 2020, I brought one of my best looks to date on stage and killed the routine to become the first Canadian to win the Ms. Fitness Olympia. 🇨🇦 🇺🇸

2x Ms. Fitness Olympia

After just missing the 1st place spot in 2021, I worked my ass off to come back in 2022 to regain the title. I was one of the few people to comeback and win after losing it. Shoutout to Jay Cutler for doing the same in 2009! You were and still are my inspiration. ✌🏻

Giving Back

I've had the opportunity to work with some amazing people in the bodybuilding world and have become very good friends with some!

For example, in 2023, I was able to sponsor my first show! As you can see, we went all out for the first place trophy for the Adela Garcia Classic. 🙌🏻

Leaving a Legacy

As I continue to build my legacy in the IFBB and bodybuilding world I have truly found another passion and that's helping people reach their goals!

I don't care how big or crazy your goals may sound - I want to help you if you're willing to put in the WORK!

You are now entering the shark infested waters! Let's GOOOOOOOO! #TeamApex  🦈
